About the Founders

Founded by the dynamic husband-and-wife duo Jacob and Sandra Choi, JHOG Design & Development, Inc. is a Southern California based general contractor with over 45 years of combined expertise in design, construction, operations, and community development. Offering trilingual services in English, Spanish, and Korean, the firm has built a reputation for delivering reliable, high-quality design and construction solutions, customized to meet the unique needs of each client.

About Jacob: With over 25 years of experience in design and construction, Jacob holds an architecture degree from the University of Southern California. His extensive knowledge and expertise ensure that every project is executed with precision and creativity, adhering to the highest industry standards. Jacob’s strong leadership and collaborative approach ensure seamless project delivery, from concept to completion.

About Sandra: Bringing more than 20 years of experience in operations and senior level management, Sandra oversees all phases of project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets and quality standards. She plays a key role in driving initiatives that enhance community outreach, workforce development, and public health services, with a particular focus on supporting older adults.
